What sets me apart from other personal trainers is that, as a dancer, I have spent a lifetime studying movement. My dance training and studies in functional anatomy have taught me to think creatively and pay attention to areas that traditional exercise programs overlook. I bring this expert eye to each session to ensure that you get the most effective workout possible.

My fitness plans are mindful and fully individualized. I work with you to create a program that is tailored to your goals, likes, dislikes, and medical history. I specialize in corrective exercise techniques to address a wide variety of postural and movement dysfunctions, new or old.

The main components of my approach are strength, cardiorespiratory, flexibility, core, and balance training. Depending on the client I incorporate a wide variety of other equipment and modalities, including high intensity interval training, TRX suspension training, kettlebells, plyometrics, and more.

I don't believe in fads or false promises – I use only the most effective, science-based methods.

Corrective exercise

Everyone needs corrective exercise, from high-performance athletes to desk workers. Our daily lives lead to wear and tear on our bodies; repetitive actions and poor posture cause dysfunctional movement patterns, which can lead to pain and eventually injury. Corrective exercise techniques address muscle imbalances and faulty movements to help prevent future injury and allow you to work safely around existing injuries and medical conditions. I integrate corrective exercise techniques seamlessly into every session to ensure that you get a great workout while preventing all-too-common gym injuries.

Body positivity

I insist upon a body-positive environment. I won't shame or pressure you to conform to any particular aesthetic ideals. Instead, I'll help you create goals that are not tied to your appearance and help you work toward them in a way that's healthy for your body and mind. I am a member of the Health At Every Size (HAES) movement.

I'm specially certified to work with prenatal and postpartum clients to help you stay fit and mobile through pregnancy and care for your body after you deliver. I use my expertise in corrective exercise to address common pregnancy aches, pains, and postural issues. I can also help with safe c-section recovery.
